Well, at least I don't have to worry about leftovers
There's about half an hour left in the official trick or treating period, and once again we have run out of freaking candy. I really, really thought we had enough this year. I bought a hundred things of bubbles (hey, they were 20/$2), a couple of huge bags that added up to about 200 pieces of candy, and then today I added 3 smallish bags of Kit Kats and 2 huge ones of Twizzlers.
Shit, we didn't even get our first trick or treater until a few minutes before 6. By quarter after 7 I was down to the Necco wafers I got to give the rude children, and in 15 minutes even those were gone.
The bubbles were a big hit, though. Next year, I'm getting 300 things of bubbles and a like number of Twizzlers, and everybody is getting a bottle and a stick.
