Something has to change about my work situation, and pretty soon. I love what I do, and I have a hard time imagining my life not working with animals, but I hate my job. I hate my bosses for the way they treat people. And I'm starting to hate myself for standing back while they treat people that way. I feel like my continued employment there is ( Read more... )

my opinion is that you should quit that shithole. You have wanted to for a long time and I think you will feel truly LIBERATED.
You can sub till you find something else. And if you piss them off in the City Schools, can always go to the County Schools. Piss them off in Perry, you still have Letcher, Leslie, Pike and Knott all close. That's YEARS of subbing and pissing people off. and there's always HCC jobs too, tutoring and whatnot. and there are more vet clinics who would actually appreciate your skills.
