Not only did Supernatural drop its intellectual superiority and stick in a soft-core porn scene just like every other WB show, but THEY GOT THE DATE OF THE ALAMO BATTLE WRONG! Now I understand that not everybody hates seeing a fairly smart, usually well written and well acted show turn into the usual WB smutfest, but CAN WE AT LEAST GET THE DATE RIGHT??? Geez, all you have to do is google the words "battle of the Alamo" and you get the right answer. You don't even have to click on a link! It's right there in the summary. John Shiban, shame on you, Sir. Shame, shame, SHAME.
I got the rough draft of my legal memorandum back today. She liked it! She actually wrote "excellent work!" at the bottom! I was stunned, since I was expecting it to be full of red marks. She did point me toward one more case that I needed to cite, and showed me how to correct the way I was listing references, but those things are relatively minor. That means the major project for this semester, the one I have been stressing over, the one I have two more weeks to complete--is all but finished! I am not even going to think about school until Monday, as a reward for myself. Then I'll have several assignments to complete, but nothing like the big one. And three weeks from today, I am done.
The cats went on a pukefest today. Good thing I got the SpotBot. Only I don't think it was intended to be used as heavily as we use ours, so we'll probably have to replace it long before a normal family would have to replace theirs.
I have to see the leg doctor tomorrow for what should be my last appointment. The muscles are still weak and I still limp. Lately I've been having muscle cramps and aches something fierce. I was supposed to see him last Friday, but they were closed for Good Friday when I got there. Then they tried to tell me my appointment had been scheduled for this Monday, which I pointed out I would never have made an appointment for Monday, because I have class that day. Which is true. I do have class that day. I just don't attend. But that's beside the point. So we had to reschedule for this Friday. Oh well, it's later in the morning, so I don't have to get up as early.
