it's anything but ordinary...
the last week or so has been pretty interesting...just when you think you've got people figured out they have to go ahead and surprise you. i guess that's some unwritten law about life. i hope everyone is as happy as they're at least pretending to be because i'm smiling right now and i want nothing less for them either. tom cruise said it best on oprah though, "if people aren't happy for me then they're not invited to the party"
i know my personality isn't condusive to letting go and moving on and just because i am doesn't mean i'm not going to be there for you. we've seen each other through a lot of things and i'd be lying if i said i could replace any single memory i have of you. the past, and you specifically, have made me who and how i am today and i'll never be able to change that. we both have other stuff and other people in our lives and thats alright. just because we're growing up doesn't mean we have to grow apart. you're my best friend in the entire world and nothing and no one is going to change that or take that away from you i promise.
