if America says it's so, it's so!
the weather right now:
Temperature: (-5) degrees Fahrenheit.
Feels like: (-29) degrees Fahrenheit.
I can safely say that I have never been in weather this cold before this morning. It is quite exhilerating to feel the contents inside my nose stiffen and freeze, the skin on my face tighten as if i've had a face lift, and the inevitable chill that accompanies every inhale whenever i step outside. Oh, and don't let me fail to mention the intense thawing process that occurs when one steps inside (which some may say is the worst part). Though this all sounds very negative (ha, no pun intended) it's sort of fun. easy for me to say at this point, but I do feel semi-hardcore about the whole thing. to think that some crazy people slept in tents last night kind of makes me sick, though. i mean, i'm all for saving energy and the environment, but c'mon, let's get real here.
it's sunny, too, and thus quite pretty outside.

this term has gotten increasingly better with each progressive week, so that's basically awesome. plus i have something sweet to look forward to at the end of the 10 weeks: mexico with the mother! YES WARMTH!
