well shit
well things arent always fine and dandy i guess. a couple people in our crew had a little bit of a scuffle, and i dont want to take any sides and dont want to be involved but im kind of in the middle of it. my roommate and i were just asking each other why people ever argue anyways on anything thats not a light subject. its fun to argue about stupid things like who should play qb for the patriots or the most effective way to wipe your ass. but some things are stupid. i give much respect to headstrong people who believe strongly about their values or beliefs, but when two of them are in the same room, it usually doesnt end up being a good thing. both people are strong in their beliefs but both are also very mature and professional people and i am confident that things will be resolved cause neither of these people are really babies about these kind of things. when people start hitting it starts to go to far, but i know for a fact that the person who did it, is incredibly sorry and wishes he never had and felt like it was just a dumb thing to do, just as much as the rest of us do. i agree with jeff and if things just cooled down tonight it would be a good thing. i dont agree with anyone quitting football and i feel like i am responsible sometimes being the captain of the team and all, and also being caught between a long time buddy and a newer one. i feel like cause of this we are being a disfunctional team and i am the captain so i guess im not doing a good job of it. but then i think i am the captain of a football team and even though the argument started having to do with football but escalated into stuff not having anything to do with football just was a little related. i thought it would be best if i were to be a lenient captain, like hearing people out about ideas, and not getting angry at people by the way they are acting on the field, its pretty much me not wanting to be a dick and take away from the whole "out there to have fun" atmosphere. damnit i wish i were fishing.
