Cami's Report - Arashi Blast In Hawaii 140919
I forgot how to write report since it's been 2 years since I last wrote,I skip 3,i think 3 concert reports and I'm sorry but now I'm in the mood writing and this concert is really worth sharing. I won't start from the time I arrived here in Hawaii. I will start this report on the concert day itself okay, let's start!!!
Ko Olina declared September 19, 2014 is an Arashi day!!! Yehey!!

Hawaii is 19hrs behind Tokyo so it’s hard to adjust my body clock plus the burden of forgetting to set my phone into Hawaii Time. Anyway, I woke up 9AM and get ready for this day!!! Went to the waiting area where the bus will take us to the venue. Lined up with my best friend Yumi at the venue, getting our Aloha necklace, our bottled water and chair for the concert! It was really hot in Hawaii, no blankets or umbrellas allowed so we need to stay under the sun for 3hrs straight (can you believe that?). We saw a lot of people there, Mixed Nationalities. Japanese, Americans and there are Chinese/Koreans. They are wearing Aloha polo and Arashi Blast T-shirt. Anyway, let's do fast track to the concert.
The concert started. Arashi video played from the year 1999 up until today. Showed their singles and albums. After the backtrack, they played a video of the 5 gorgeous princes inside the helicopter in Red outfits and wearing sun glasses. They were flying around the venue. I saw this helicopter before this concert here and someone informed us that they will ride this to start the concert. Then I saw my Prince Ohno Satoshi with Matsumoto Jun in front!! Ninomiya Kazunari, Aiba Masaki and Sakurai Sho positioned behind them. The helicopter landed and they walked in a red carpet from the back stage to the front and started singing "A.Ra.Shi". The moment when they removed the sunglasses was so cool. This performance is so much fun when OS, AM and NK doing acrobats while MJ and SS doing their dance steps. Followed by "Lucky Man" when they separated from the stage as they danced. Third is "Gori Muuchuu". Got energized by this since because of AM. So handsome. Then the normal greetings.
MJ: Hawaii! It's been 15 years! Are you all ready? We going to show you the best concert !
NK: Irrasshaimase! Irrasshaimase! Irrasshaimase! We are here! Let’s have a blast!
AM: Are you all having fun?! Are you sure? More!
OS: Hi! Hi! Hi! Like our normal greetings, It's Hawaiian Festival!
SS: How are you doing? All the sections? Are you ready, Hawaii? Let's have some fun!!
Next song is "Hadashi No Mirai".They are dancing at the center stage with microphones. Then "Pikanchi" also dancing at the center stage with my favorite fireworks!! The song was followed by "Pikanchi Double". This is the best since all the pair has their moments. OHMIYA!! Then they disappeared from the stage.
First part of Arashi history video started to play. This is the time they saw the original yacht they ride before. It has subbed for all the Hawaiian fans. They look so happy to see it but then MJ suddenly ask:
MJ: Was it the original one?
NK: I have no idea!
Then they talked about their reactions about how they became Arashi.
MJ: I'm happy but scared
SS: I though it has something to do with volleyball
OS: Thinking I will only play in Hawaii then I just realized I'm working. Am I working?
NK: I went to the Yakiniku restaurant I went before and the old woman working there remembered me and said it’s been 15 years.
AM: Nothing, I didn't realize anything until we reached our second year.
OS: We didn't talk much before until we reached our second year. That's the time we became closer as a group and we had our Asian tour.
OS: We're Japan based group so how the others knew about us?
NK: It was a warm welcome from them.
AM: And they are calling us like in Japan. Sho-kun, Matsujun, Riida, Nino and Aiba-chan.
Everyone laughed.
MJ: It encourages us more from that Asian tour and formed the five of us a group.
OS: That's not easy but as long as fans are happy we will continue.
NK: We did everything that time but we maintained the basics.
MJ: We will never forget the pleasure that was the fans sent to us.
AM: Sometimes, while we were doing a concert. I feel like to stop the time. Weird right?
MJ: We are very close as a group especially when Sho injured his wrist. And we did many "first time" together.
MJ: Remember Kokuritsu, we achieved our another big dream there.
AM: We were all wet that time. I said: "We're alive"
SS: We sing love so sweet there and scene was fantastic.
NK: It was indescribable that everyone is looking at the same direction.
MJ: That was a meaningful part of our lives.
Talks was over, they started singing " Love So Sweet" in a yellow shirt inside the white and blue striped suits. They look really good!! Bowed to the fans after the performance. The sunset add flavors to this performance, Really Love So Sweet! My favorite song!! Then "Oh yeah" with water fountains. We were wet because we are in the middle and every time the water fountains release water we got wet. Whew, to beat the heat!!! hahaha. Went to the moving stage, I don't quite remember who's with who. I think MJ, AM and NK on the moving stage on the left. SS and OS is with each other on the right (somehow) while singing "Kitto Daijoubu". Going to the main backstage for the "Step and Go" which they danced. And they pulled out into different places in carts while singing "Happiness". MJ was so close!! YUMI!!! Ahaha NK was on our part firing us water. He is so cute!! They have this waters guns and firing the crowd. They went to the main stage to sing and danced the "Believe" then followed by "5x10". The stage rises up. Then SS changed again the lyrics from 10 to 15 years. Then the MC:

SS: Yeah! Yeah! That's for all of you coming!
SS looked for the other members for their introduction, but none of them are near. Drinking water and wiping their faces.
SS: Please line up here.
They lined up at the middle.
SS: We are Arashi!!
Then bowed to all the audience.
SS: We are here in Hawaii for our 15th year anniversary concert. It will just short, oh wait. No, it's not but it's an amazing night. Just look that Hawaii welcome and all the fans.
AM: Thank you for taking time to know us.
OS: Thank you. (In English)
NK (to AM): When you said Aloha awhile ago, it was shaking.
AM: I'm nervous.

SS: We talked about Arashi's past in serious matter but only one can laugh in such a serious topic.
MJ looked at the ocean.
MJ: Isn't the ocean is so nice?
OS: I'm happy the weather favor us during rehearsal. Yesterday, it was bad when we checked the venue, right? That's not good, but I think that's the way it is.
Everyone laughed. Hahahahaha SS asked NK
SS: How are you Nino?
NK: It's hot. My face is red and I sweat a lot. I looked like I'm drunk.
Noticing the ocean view again.
MJ: The ocean view is beautiful.
We all look at it as if when can see it hahaha
MJ: We celebrated our 15th year but It felt normal but when were singing "ARASHI' it hits me.
SS: We finished wearing the see-through costumes and we now we ride helicopter. But we have done that in rehearsals.
AM: Yes, it must be look nice in the rain and we used trash bags. We felt warm.
MJ: Thank you for coming here and to all those who are watching in live streaming.
He came to the camera and waved.
SS: Hey don't do that!
MJ: Ahh Sorry, I'm just....changing the channel.
Hahahahahaha Then NK and MJ went to the backstage to change outfits.
AM: I'll wait here.

AM: Do you remember the Pineapple bar?

AM: I don't remember it? But you too right?
Where is that pineapple bar? Hahaha Now they are talking about their debut.
AM: I received a phone call 3 days before our debut. I thought it's a vacation but it's not.
SS: How did you receive the call? Cellphone? Pocket bells?
AM: I don't have that before; I received it on my cellphone. Something...Sho-kun, imitate the president.
They did a scenario on how President Kitagawa called AM.
SS: Is this Aiba?
AM looked frustrated and shaking his head.
SS: Do you have passport?
SS joking him. AM ignored him. He continues his story. SS is funny!!
AM: It was really magical.
OS: I found out our debut 1 week before when we recorded our Arashi song.
He asked me if I can sing it. I said "Yes, maybe"
SS: I know you heard all these many times.
AM: Please be kind to us.
MJ went back to the stage and join the others.
SS: It looks nice.
OS: It's been 15 years and you still look good.
They talked about their hair when they debuted. MJ has this perm hair. OS has long hair, SS has this....I don't know how to call it. Something like thick dead hair. My god, please forgive me, I really don't know. Sorry. He changed it for the press conference.
SS: It turned out like seaweeds.
They also talked about photo shoot they did before on the road which they didn't know where. MJ search for it but fail so he asked to send it to him by the other members to check. He chooses SS' photo.
SS: I have a lot of photos from there. Also the helicopter.
Audience: We want to see.
SS suddenly smiled. What a nice set of teeth. Hahaha Also AM promoted his
Miracle Movie. He stumbled in words again; he said it will be televise rather than in theaters.
AM: Please watch it! I don't think it will be shown here in Hawaii but please go to Japan to watch.
MJ: We also finished the recording for our new album and we will be having our next concert soon.
OS: When we get back to Japan, we will rehearse again?
Make face Ohno Satoshi. He is really best in that! hahaha
MJ: Don't do that! Please choreograph our songs again?
OS: Whatever you say.
MJ: What If i ask to choreograph them all?
OS: That's impossible.
MJ: But fans want it.
We screamed. I shout so loud. I want to see Ohno dance!! He keeps on objecting on what MJ said.
OS: If I'll do that, it’ll be my concert alone and I don’t like the idea.
I love the IDEA. Hahaha (^^)V They all go to the main stage for some remixes songs. They sang "My Girl" followed by "Everything". OS on our part, and he waved! Yeah! MJ and OS really have many moments in this concert! Then "Summer Splash”. They were on the cart and they are really close to the audience. I love this concert!! We are on the part in the aisle and we really can see them clearly passing our way. Happiness for me. Then "Carnival Night" on the moving stage. Then MJ shout:
MJ: Riida!!
MJ took off OS' jacket and he did the back flip with a super nice pose at the end. WOW!!! The reaction was so cool!! Just so you know, he did that back flip because he lost from the game they played at the Arashi Theater before this concert. They did the quiz game of which member is the most knowledgeable about Arashi. Asking if I was there? Hmmmm? (^^)V hahaha Anyway, MJ won on that quiz and the punishment is the back flip on the "Carnival Night" performance.
Next video played was again about Arashi history is one road.
OS: I remember we walked there.
AM: We run also.
SS: 5 years passed so slowly but 10 years passed so fast.
MJ: When all of us having our own dramas in 2009,I think that's the time Arashi became famous.
OS: I also felt like I’m flying.
SS: We got the chance too to host on the Kouhaku, everyone is congratulating me.
OS: When I heard about that, I thought It was a joke.
NK: We are doing our work also together, the 5 of us.
AM: We are thankful to all the fans that supported us. All the fun times became more fun and the tough time became not tough at all.
MJ: We will continue what we are doing. The best place we can talk to our fans is during concerts.
AM: During concerts, It's so real but so look so unreal. It's like unreal dream.
OS: It's nice that fans think I'm good in dancing. It’s like sharing my secrets of me when I make dance steps. It's okay to act cool in concert.
AM: In junior years, all we did was dancing and singing so it's okay.
OS: I'm sure can dance for more years.
AM: We will show our best.
Video finished. The clock strike at 12AM and there's a fire effects on the main stage. They appeared in black and gold and they have Hawaiian dancers dancing with fires, the song is "Monster". They dance here with effects and separated by into two groups, AM and OS. MJ, NK and SS on our side. I was shocked that I'm sure it was "Facedown" but the song is "Dare Mo Shiranai" and there are their colorsin fires and the stage. Then "Paradox",this performance is the best ever!!! So sexy and NK's shaking hip is so ahhhhh! My favorite fireswoks end the song.
They have 5 different stages for "Your Eyes" to each of them. Nk was on our part. He is so cute. Then "Meikyuu Love Song" with pink floral jackets. I think flora? Hahaha. Next is "Troublemaker" in different places. AM was on our side and waved at us. I melt ahhhh!!! Then "Wild at Heart" in more waved and peace sign. They were on the backstage.
NK: Are still having fun, Hawaii? We can do more?
"Guts". They are on their individual post for that rise up super high. There are fireworks in this performance too. Singing up there and they have like fireworks behind them, so nice to see!
MJ: Thank you very much Hawaii, Listen to our last song.
"Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi" the last song for the encore. The post slide to reach the other and two member in one, 3 on the other. Then they went to the backstage to change outfit and now they are in white suit.

SS: Thank you for coming here. 15 years. Every time I listen to our old songs, I remember the sky here in Hawaii, 15 years ago. I'm really worried about our debut before. They always said that we are good friends but I often think we became like this because of your support. Maybe we are not here after 15years without your support. I'm bothered sometimes that our names giving us so much honor and love. Coming here in Hawaii for the second time is all thanks to all of you. Even more years after, we all want all of you to be proud as an Arashi fan.
OS: Thank you very much! Riding that helicopter, I'm really glad. But right now, I don't know what I feel. I was sitting alone on the balcony last night thinking about it. Only few memories left inside me about our debut but some details stand out. And when I remember, I really don't know what to feel....(he take a deep breath and started crying but still acting cool) I'm sorry. To the fans, our managers, the staffs and to all those who supported us for 15 years, Thank you. Please support us on our 16th.
Aww, that moment my prince cried, I'm crying too!! ='( Yumi hugged me and wiped out my tears.
AM: Seeing leader crying, I totally forgot everything I'm supposed to say here. I can feel it. Since the time i met this four, my life became 100x the fun. Thank you very much. I'm really glad to be an Arashi. (You can noticed he was about to cry too. He stumbled on the end of his speech.)
NK: It's hard to give speech after these two. Thank you for coming all the way here just to watch our concert. Thank you for the chance to do it in this nice place. Thank you for giving us more chances to sing, to have a show on TV and for doing concerts. We always think of new things that all of you will approve of; we are trying to make fun concerts for all of you. Maa, Jun create most of it. We still have one more concert tomorrow and more concerts as soon as we go back to Japan. Yoroshiku Onegashimasu!
MJ: Thank you so much. The past 15 years was amazing. We maybe met each other in different time but there is only one direction that you and I are walking together. It was a nice concert. They sung "Season after their speeches while many of their old and new photos are showing on the screen. OS' face is obviously happy with tears. Then followed by "Bittersweet". MJ came to OS and put his arm over OS' shoulder and did the same to MJ. Yumi put her arms to my shoulder too and we smiled at each other. The second to last song is "Energy Song" while they go to different directions. Running here and there and they switched lyrics from Tokyo to Hawaii on the song. Hahaha The last song is of course "A.Ra.Shi", in this song they bid good byes already.
MJ: Ore no namae wa nanda?
Audience: ARASHI!!!
Go to the backstage. Camera caught SS when he kissed the camera. MJ hold hands with OS to do their final bow to the audience. A lot of waves and thank yous from them as they riding the helicopter. The song is still playing as the background music; we are force to sing the song as while the helicopter is ready to take off. MJ and OS did high five. They left the venue. That's how the concert finished.
Every one of us, get our things and ready to go. The shuttle's line is too long but the way to our hotel is fast and smooth. That's it! Day 1 concert is done.
I really can say that this is one of my super favorite. I was only 4 years old when they debuted and being here, in this place, where they formed was really special to them and to me also. I felt like I was here 15 years ago! Hahaha This concert also shocked me so much! I've been in an Arashi concert many times but this is really shocking. Why? All the phones of the audience was focus on Arashi since the concert started. Which is really prohibited? Me and Yumi was like "Is that allowed?" Will we do the same?" Or I guess I'm just used to Johnny's rule of "No Camera Allowed" in Tokyo?! Well!!
DAY 2 Tomorrow!! Should I write my day 2? I'm pretty sure that will be same as today's? Hahaha If there are mistakes on this report, please forgive me. I don't remember everything on the concert! As much as I want to put photos to this report. I can't, You guys won't allow me too! Hahaha

I love the IDEA. Hahaha (^^)V They all go to the main stage for some remixes songs. They sang "My Girl" followed by "Everything". OS on our part, and he waved! Yeah! MJ and OS really have many moments in this concert! Then "Summer Splash”. They were on the cart and they are really close to the audience. I love this concert!! We are on the part in the aisle and we really can see them clearly passing our way. Happiness for me. Then "Carnival Night" on the moving stage. Then MJ shout:
MJ: Riida!!
MJ took off OS' jacket and he did the back flip with a super nice pose at the end. WOW!!! The reaction was so cool!! Just so you know, he did that back flip because he lost from the game they played at the Arashi Theater before this concert. They did the quiz game of which member is the most knowledgeable about Arashi. Asking if I was there? Hmmmm? (^^)V hahaha Anyway, MJ won on that quiz and the punishment is the back flip on the "Carnival Night" performance.
Next video played was again about Arashi history is one road.
OS: I remember we walked there.
AM: We run also.
SS: 5 years passed so slowly but 10 years passed so fast.
MJ: When all of us having our own dramas in 2009,I think that's the time Arashi became famous.
OS: I also felt like I’m flying.
SS: We got the chance too to host on the Kouhaku, everyone is congratulating me.
OS: When I heard about that, I thought It was a joke.
NK: We are doing our work also together, the 5 of us.
AM: We are thankful to all the fans that supported us. All the fun times became more fun and the tough time became not tough at all.
MJ: We will continue what we are doing. The best place we can talk to our fans is during concerts.
AM: During concerts, It's so real but so look so unreal. It's like unreal dream.
OS: It's nice that fans think I'm good in dancing. It’s like sharing my secrets of me when I make dance steps. It's okay to act cool in concert.
AM: In junior years, all we did was dancing and singing so it's okay.
OS: I'm sure can dance for more years.
AM: We will show our best.
Video finished. The clock strike at 12AM and there's a fire effects on the main stage. They appeared in black and gold and they have Hawaiian dancers dancing with fires, the song is "Monster". They dance here with effects and separated by into two groups, AM and OS. MJ, NK and SS on our side. I was shocked that I'm sure it was "Facedown" but the song is "Dare Mo Shiranai" and there are their colorsin fires and the stage. Then "Paradox",this performance is the best ever!!! So sexy and NK's shaking hip is so ahhhhh! My favorite fireswoks end the song.
They have 5 different stages for "Your Eyes" to each of them. Nk was on our part. He is so cute. Then "Meikyuu Love Song" with pink floral jackets. I think flora? Hahaha. Next is "Troublemaker" in different places. AM was on our side and waved at us. I melt ahhhh!!! Then "Wild at Heart" in more waved and peace sign. They were on the backstage.
NK: Are still having fun, Hawaii? We can do more?
"Guts". They are on their individual post for that rise up super high. There are fireworks in this performance too. Singing up there and they have like fireworks behind them, so nice to see!
MJ: Thank you very much Hawaii, Listen to our last song.
"Kansha Kangeki Ame Arashi" the last song for the encore. The post slide to reach the other and two member in one, 3 on the other. Then they went to the backstage to change outfit and now they are in white suit.

SS: Thank you for coming here. 15 years. Every time I listen to our old songs, I remember the sky here in Hawaii, 15 years ago. I'm really worried about our debut before. They always said that we are good friends but I often think we became like this because of your support. Maybe we are not here after 15years without your support. I'm bothered sometimes that our names giving us so much honor and love. Coming here in Hawaii for the second time is all thanks to all of you. Even more years after, we all want all of you to be proud as an Arashi fan.
OS: Thank you very much! Riding that helicopter, I'm really glad. But right now, I don't know what I feel. I was sitting alone on the balcony last night thinking about it. Only few memories left inside me about our debut but some details stand out. And when I remember, I really don't know what to feel....(he take a deep breath and started crying but still acting cool) I'm sorry. To the fans, our managers, the staffs and to all those who supported us for 15 years, Thank you. Please support us on our 16th.
Aww, that moment my prince cried, I'm crying too!! ='( Yumi hugged me and wiped out my tears.
AM: Seeing leader crying, I totally forgot everything I'm supposed to say here. I can feel it. Since the time i met this four, my life became 100x the fun. Thank you very much. I'm really glad to be an Arashi. (You can noticed he was about to cry too. He stumbled on the end of his speech.)
NK: It's hard to give speech after these two. Thank you for coming all the way here just to watch our concert. Thank you for the chance to do it in this nice place. Thank you for giving us more chances to sing, to have a show on TV and for doing concerts. We always think of new things that all of you will approve of; we are trying to make fun concerts for all of you. Maa, Jun create most of it. We still have one more concert tomorrow and more concerts as soon as we go back to Japan. Yoroshiku Onegashimasu!
MJ: Thank you so much. The past 15 years was amazing. We maybe met each other in different time but there is only one direction that you and I are walking together. It was a nice concert. Thank you for such a good memory. Thank you for encouraging us to continue, giving us your smiles and your strength. If you didn't support us, we couldn't have gone this far. Thank you so much. Please support us and we will create new directions that will soon be fun to walk off with all of you together. Please continue supporting us.
They sung "Season after their speeches while many of their old and new photos are showing on the screen. OS' face is obviously happy with tears. Then followed by "Bittersweet". MJ came to OS and put his arm over OS' shoulder and did the same to MJ. Yumi put her arms to my shoulder too and we smiled at each other. The second to last song is "Energy Song" while they go to different directions. Running here and there and they switched lyrics from Tokyo to Hawaii on the song. Hahaha The last song is of course "A.Ra.Shi", in this song they bid good byes already.
MJ: Ore no namae wa nanda?
Audience: ARASHI!!!
Go to the backstage. Camera caught SS when he kissed the camera. MJ hold hands with OS to do their final bow to the audience. A lot of waves and thank yous from them as they riding the helicopter. The song is still playing as the background music; we are force to sing the song as while the helicopter is ready to take off. MJ and OS did high five. They left the venue. That's how the concert finished.
Every one of us, get our things and ready to go. The shuttle's line is too long but the way to our hotel is fast and smooth. That's it! Day 1 concert is done.
I really can say that this is one of my super favorite. I was only 4 years old when they debuted and being here, in this place, where they formed was really special to them and to me also. I felt like I was here 15 years ago! Hahaha This concert also shocked me so much! I've been in an Arashi concert many times but this is really shocking. Why? All the phones of the audience was focus on Arashi since the concert started. Which is really prohibited? Me and Yumi was like "Is that allowed?" Will we do the same?" Or I guess I'm just used to Johnny's rule of "No Camera Allowed" in Tokyo?! Well!!
DAY 2 Tomorrow!! Should I write my day 2? I'm pretty sure that will be same as today's? Hahaha If there are mistakes on this report, please forgive me. I don't remember everything on the concert! As much as I want to put photos to this report. I can't, You guys won't allow me too! Hahaha
