Gallaudet...
OK, I totally can't wait til I move to Gallaudet!!!
I think I am finally almost done with sending in forms for Gallaudet, who knew there would be so many lol. Health information should be mailed by tomorrow or so. Yeah, I had a check up finally so the doctor could give me alll kinds of shots that was necessary for Gallaudet. I got like three shots and I had to do a urine sample... I haven't done all that in a LONG time but it was mostly because I am going to live in close quarters so it makes sense (dorms).
Speaking of DORMS... I finally got to meet my roommate Marie online today- she seems cool and we are pretty much the same in some ways like laidback and all that kind of things. We both are so excited that we finally found out that we were each other's roommate and we were already talking about what we need to bring and all that jazz. (She's deaf and from the south- Georgia! so that's awesome too!!)
That reminds me, after I read this book that I am just for leisure... I gotta start on the required books for CLC... its like a workshop that runs for two weeks online and then one week on campus at Gallaudet. It sure will keep me busy as time approaches to move. I have to be there two weeks before school actually starts because of the CLC and GSO (graduate school orientation). I am glad to be there early anyways so I can settle in and meet new people and stuff.
As for how my summer is going...I am on this laidback diet kind of thing ( weight watchers) because my parents are so its like pretty much the food here is based on that but it is a good diet because you can eat anything you want but you have to watch the amount, and stuff. I have been exercising as much as I can but not tanning as much as I would, oh well. At least I am doing most of what I wanted to do, sleeping, doing things with friends, exercising, the volunteer researching and so on. I have been going out but it seems as lately I didn't feel like drinking a whole ALOT, weird.
Guys, it just seems as some of my guyfriends just decided to drop hints about doing stuff with them and I wasn't even thinking about them that way and no, I wouldnt anytime soon. Besides, why would I want to get into whatever with them when I am just about to move to D.C. in like less than two months. Guys can be just so typical! LOL.
OH yeah by the way.... I'm on my NEW LAPTOP!!!! IT's just so beautiful and I love it. It's one of the vaio series from Sony.
