What a weekend!
I'm home again, so here's another post. It seems like I never have time to update this while at school. Ah well.
So my weekend technically began Thursday at 1:45 and doesn't end until 12:30 on Tuesday...hoo-hah :)
Came home Thursday night, went up to Keene Saturday to get Jake and bring him back, hung out with him all Friday and Saturday, saw Jenny last night. Can I just say that I'm so excited that friendships of mine don't change? Jenny and I picked up exactly where we left off and caught up and I feel like she wasn't ever gone. I love it. Today I went to the Grandparent's house, went out to lunch with Andrew, Lizz (fiance) and Jake and had a lot of laughs. Got a haircut, drove Jake back to Keene and rushed back here for dinner. Kenny's coming over in about an hour to hang out and catch up and I'm just all happy.
College is going so well, home is going so well; I wonder what I did to be this lucky. At Fitchburg I have my 'set' group of friends which basically consists of me Joe Kyle and either Steph or Bekah or both. It's a nice little group and so much fun. We watch Flight of the Conchords, play card games, etc. Academically school isn't taking up too much of my time yet, so I'm trying to enjoy the down time while I have it. I OWNED my latin mid-term (94) but have been pretty mediocre in anatomy & psychology, so I know what I need to work on. When I go back I already need to start thinking about classes for next semester, yikeeeeeeeeeees. It's only mid-October! I think I'm dropping Latin because although I love it, I really can't devote that much time to something that doesn't apply to my major. I also have to take a gym to graduate now so I'm pretty sure I'll be doing that next semester.
Otherwise, Idk what to tell you. I'm having the time of my life, I'm in love with Fitchburg and the people and FAB (the group I joined-Fitchburg Activities Board)...school is treating me very well and outside of that I still have Jake and all my good friends from high school.
I hope things stay like this in the years to come :)
