Crazy Weekend
My weekend definitely started on Thursday this weekend. I skipped Econ on Thursday and went home for the MAC Championship game at Ford Field. My dad met us down there and it was awesome. CMU kicked ass at won 31-10. However, now Brian Kelly is gone to Cinci and we're going to the Motor City Bowl on December 26th. Anyway, Friday was the Pistons game! Again, a great game- Pistons coming out victorious over Isaiah Thomas' New York Knicks.
Saturday Bret and I drove back to school and went to the movies to see the new Van Wilder. It was definitely not the original, but a pretty solid movie I guess. It reminded me a lot like Beer Fest, only a competition without the beer. Yesterday was the family Christmas party in Grand Haven- which went well. There was a lot of the family there AND I got to hold Alice's new baby Clara and she is even more adorable than in the pictures! Besides some major lake effect snow for the drive home, the day went well.
I also wanted to say that I have the most amazing boyfriend in the world. I can't think of anyone else that would put up with my family Christmas parties and with me. =)
