Numerous complaints for something so free...
I've actually had multiple complaints/suggestions about my livejournal this week. One request was that I tell a little less about the Jags and a little more about my life (apparently anyone who cares can simply read about the Jags at some place called jaguars.com so my services aren't needed). Also I had a request to limit profanity which is simply unf***ing acceptable (How's that? Work for everyone). I could be offended by these suggestions but I'm actually kinda flattered. I'm touched that people actually care. In all seriousness though the Jaguars are the shit.
Moving on, A couple updates ago I mentioned that my roommate and I had an ongoing debate about who were the top three pop entertainers of the last thirty or so years. The debate however really centered around Michael Jackson vs. Prince. I chose Prince. Now, I feel like I may be fighting an uphill battle against stats but I maintain that Prince should be considered number one. The argument for Jackson is centered around Thriller and the sizeable imprint that album left upon Pop music. I'm certainly not arguing against that. I will however assert that Prince has consistently produced better, more original music that can only be performed by someone with immense talent and inspiration. I do not think the same can be said of Michael Jackson. Basically when you look at the volume of high quality work it outweighs Jackson's peak (which I should say is very high. I'm not trying to bash the guy). Big Three: 1. Prince, 2. Jackson, 3. Madonna (even though I think if you ask me the question again I'd say Garth Brooks).
