(no subject)
I've been seriously lacking on updating... for like a month.
I went to Chicago a couple weeks ago, which is fun. I got to see Meg, which is always fabulous. Friday, I arrived, then went grocery shopping with Meg. She went to work and I wandered the city. I literally just walked around for about three hours, that's it, haha. It was nice though, I like to people watch. The rest of the time was spent hanging out with Meg doing random, chill things. Good times.
I'm almost done with school, which is stressful, exciting, and sad.
I'm the only one of my roommates moving back home, so that kinda sucks. It'll be good to be home though. Plus, then I can dedicate all my time to working since I already owe my parents some money and I need to save for Italyyyyy (woooooo).
I finished with IAH (which I hate and I don't even care if I get a bad grade in because all that matters is that the freaking class is OVER) and Journalism (YES). I have a 10 page english paper due on Friday on Africa (Good- I LOVE writing about Africa. Bad- I have to use Heart of Darkness. Ew.) and a 20 page paper for ISS due on Thursday on Microfinance Programs and how it affects the AIDS epidemic. The ISS paper will be really interesting, but I haven't started it yet and I'm thinking I probably should have. Oops. I guess I'll be at the lib for the next three days.
Ummm. I thought I had more to write about, but I guess not. I think I'm actually pretty excited to go home. It'll be sad when I know all my friends are partying together up here this summer, but I think I need a break. As Helen has pointed out, I have friend ADD. Oh well. This summer is going to be weird though. I really odd mix of people will be home and a lot of people are staying at school all summer.
I should get to my research now...
