A day to remember...

Today is Monday, November 7th, 2005. Today my mother was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. She has 2 different genes for the disease, one happens to be a rare mutation strand. Amazingly enough she has no lung damage which is extremely rare considering she is 40 years old. My mother is being very strong about this and taking it very well ( Read more... )

You would be amazed at the advances. when I was little we did a walk for CF in third grade because I kid in my class had it. then in high school seeing Tyler Foote with this disease made it seem almost hopeful. yes there are going to be challenges but now that you know it's there you can be aware of what helps keep the disease to a minimum.

that didn't sound helpful but know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family.
