Trying New Things
Today was my fist time out and running around. My dad runs an Ultimate Frisbee game on Tuesdays and Fridays. We agreed a week ago that i could try and play a bit today but no sooner. So i went out today and ran a bit. I don't have any exciting stories of a great D or laying out into the grass. This was just a step and i was happy enough running around. I didn't have to have my hands on the disk and i didn't feel like i had to chase people down. I was just happy being out there working a sweat.
This is also the last time that i am going to be able to play with my dad for three years. He is going to Argentina to be with my mom for a bit and see his family and then my mom and dad are off to England. Everyone signed a disk for him. These guys all come from different jobs and they come together for lunch to toss a disk. Some of them i have known for 10 years and others have come and gone.
Well, i am getting all mushy now. I should enjoy my favorite addiction....ICE.
