As we stumble along...through life's funny journeys.

There's something about hanging out with people who just seem so genuinely awesome that it makes everything that's been stressing me out recently just fade away.

Tonight, I went to South Pasadena with my friends Mandy and Ashley and their respective boyfriends, and it was honestly one of the most enjoyable and funny nights I've had in a little while. We just spent the whole time talking about movies, musicals, and every nerdy thing in between. I just felt so relaxed and carefree...I didn't realize how much I had been needing a night like this until I was on my way home with Mandy, listening to songs from Dr. Demento and then later on singing songs from Les Miserables, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and The Drowsy Chaperone at the top of our lungs. It was amazing.

It definitely reawakened my love for musicals, that's for sure. Also, I have discovered that I am slightly addicted to Anthony Warlow's voice. Listening to him is like drinking hot cocoa on a rainy day; it's warm and satisfying...in my opinion anyway. Take a listen.

Such a sad and gorgeous song. I couldn't find a recording from the original cast with Mandy Patinkin playing Archibald and Anthony Warlow as Neville, but I think no matter who he's singing with Warlow just sounds amazing. He is my one and only Javert *sigh* <3
