Funny how things change

I've been thinking lately....

I never thought that people would change, that my friends would be any different then when we left high school. I know, I was crazy to think that. We've all changed, reguardless if we wanted to

Then there is the whole 'college is over' thing. That seems so unreal. Granted, I have a whole other semester of student teaching ahead of me, but for the most part my college life is over. The majority of my friends at URI are done and won't be coming back in the fall. It hasn't really hit me yet. Because I know that I'm coming back to narragansett, I can't concept that they won't be. I sit at caseys now and i just can't help wanting to call everyone to meet up. But I don't doubt that next year won't lead to crazy fun adventures with those who are going to be there.

This summer didn't go quite like I had planned either. As of April i figured that I'd be working at the daycare and babysitting for Koko. Then in the middle of May, I decide to quit and screwed myself over. Now i'm not making enough money to do anything and can't afford to live on south road in august.

Living in Stoneham has its ups and its downs.
+ Its free
- I have to bring all of my stuff all the way back to mass, to bring it to rhode island in september
+ I don't have to worry about food shopping, bills, etc...
- I know me, and i'll drive down to rhode island to babysit once/twice a week
+ I can practice the standard more
+ I get to hang out with my friends and family more
- Poor allison is by herself at the house

The fundraiser is coming along. The silent auction is only 2 weeks away!! we figured out what items we're auctioning and then what we're raffleing. now we have to sell more tickets..

And we're starting to practice walking too.... it's kicking my ass
