Oops, I hit the post button by accident...
In a vain attempt to resurrect this journal, I'm going to write a (very) brief account of my life at this point. At this point I'm assuming if anyone really wanted the grotty details of my daily life, they'd ask, but on the basis that one or two people are possibly wondering what's happened to me since I graduated 4 months ago...
I got a job! Which, by all accounts is a big huge WAHOO because I was gearing myself up for at least 6 months of fruitless searching, being as I graduated in the worst year EVER! So I've been working as one of two graphic designers (both of us graduates) in a small company with big ideas, called Eurologix Security. The original contract I was on was for 8 weeks, where I worked part time, and during this first 8 weeks my main task was re-designing the company website (click here if you want to see it) and various other odd jobs of design stuff.
However, it then turned out that my boss, being the entrepreneur that he is, had decided to finance a new Graphic Design company, with us two graduates as the designers and his girlfriend (also called Debi, confusingly) doing the marketing side and managing the whole thing. (click here if you want to see out brand new website) So I'm now on my 2nd 8 week contract- but full time- and as of the beginning of December I'll be on a permanent contract!
In other news, I've booked my driving test! Whether I pass it or not, obviously remains to be seen. My own point of view on this varies so drastically from one day to the next that I really can't say. But I have had more lessons than I'm prepared to admit to (I know the number, but I'm not going to say, it's too embarrassing- today's a low day >_<;;) so... we'll see.
Right. Now that I've got all that out, you probably won't see me again for another 4 months. I'll be here, lurking XP
