My expectations for people seriously need to stop rising, even if I really really believe that it's appropriate to think otherwise. That's what always screws me over in the end. I'm just glad I'm not the same person I was a few years ago. As much as I may get fucked over by other people, I know I will always be able to bounce up because I have built the proper foundation for myself. Go me.
