the funny things that happened to me...
at school today:
i rode the bus to school on colfax...one of the weirdest streets in the world. seriously.
while sitting on the bus, two foreign exchange students got on the bus. the bus was already getting a little full...it was close to the end of the line, it happens. which means that you walk to the back of the bus. except these two girls. the person behind them had to 'encourage' them to keep moving.
then, after exiting said bus, these two girls cross colfax to get to campus but then when they get to the other side of the street, they walk down the middle of the street! a mom-like woman in an SUV has the HONK at them to make them get out of the damn street!
i then go to work and almost forget to go to class this morning. stellar way to kick off my final semester.
i go to my three final classes...they are mostly a drag.
also, i am beginning to think that i should have stayed a history major because my history class was the only one that was even remotely interesting today.
after i get out of my classes my phone rings. i don't know the number but i answer it anyway. the following is a loose interpretation of the conversation we had:
me: hello?
guy: hey megan
me: hi...?
guy: did you get 'em?
me: ...get what?
guy: it's me, david.
me: uhm...do i know a david?
david: hang on
me: ...ok
david: holy shit! i dialed the wrong number but i still got a megan!
me: wow...that's really weird.
david: ok sorry about that. have a nice day.
me: thanks, you too.
so far, that's been my day.
