Springfield MO-- Destination, SWITCHFOOT!

We were on the road and we were both exhausted but we didn't sleep-- because Mandi was driving, and because I didn't want her to be the only one up. So we had fun doing nothing for a good 3+ hours until we got down there.
We got down there and we found where they were going to be playing and there was no ( Read more... )

Oh my WORD! Time of your lives, huh? Sounds great to me! :D I want a pic with the the two of you in that chair together! HA! He walked y'all back? :O! How sweet! ;) Well I think you started crying, baby, because it was really wonderful for them to recognize what happened. To sing about it and lift those folks up...that is amazing and wonderful! I would have cried, too. I am SO glad you two had a good time. No mess and no injuries and except for the mean chick, all sounded GREAT! YAY! *huggles tight* :D!

I don't think we have a picture of the two of us in the chair! We have one of both of us that Mandi wanted to delete and most likely didnt upload, but you can ask her to upload it.
Well, the full song, it just made me think of everyone that died in my family, and people close to me, and then with what happened with the shootings [i didnt know what happened really] and it just.. I don't know. I guess it was being there and hearing them sing it.

Well, I do have an injury. *nurses sunburn*

Well in all seriousness I didn't think of it. I didn't think that it would be as hot as it was, or that we would be out in teh sun that much.

uhmmmm
Well just remember that it doesn't have to be hot in order for the sun to be damaging. There is actually a day in December when the sun is actually quite strong and you can actually get quite burned if not careful. I read about that somewhere and was actually shocked. *nod* SO there. You should put sunblock on every time you go out...from now through the end of Summer and into Fall. Indeed.
