Snippet Update
I'm not feeling up to doing a full update yet, but i felt like i should at least give you guys a snippet into what's happening in my life at the moment.
*First of all, my darling father has decided to divorce my step-mum & is in the process of selling his house. This means he'll be homeless, so guess where he's coming to stay? Yep, that's right, my house. And, as some of you may know from previous posts about my dad, he's not exactly the ideal father figure, so this isn't exactly good news for me.
*Secondly, i'm withdrawing from uni. Bit of background to this first: Due to my father being a dick and my mum having various issues of her own, they've managed to successfully raise 4 very fucked-up kids. When my parents divorced, it kinda exasperated the various problems my siblings & i have. For whatever reason, unlike my siblings, i never dealt with the situation at the time, and so my problems have been festering for the last 4 and a half years. Unfortunately, when my dad returned for 3 weeks last summer (see previous posts of that time), it kinda brought everything to a head. This last year at uni has suffered badly because of it. I almost failed my winter exams & i haven't even managed to complete my summer exams. And i don't forsee the next year being any different. So i've taken what i hope is the mature route, and withdrawn, instead of wasting a year of my time (and accumulating another £5000 in student loan debt), especially since my dad returning again this summer has made things even worse.
*Related to the above, as soon as i'm registered again with a doctor near my mum's house, i'll be approaching them to be referred for counselling. According to various people i know, it's been a long time coming... >.>;
*But on the good news: all this means i'll soon be working full-time, so i'll actually have some income coming in. And as soon as i can get a realistic deposit, i'll be moving into my own place too.
