I'm not going to say "LEAVE SCHOOL!" but perhaps you really do need to think about what's best for you. It recently dawned on me, that no matter how good or bad my grades are here, graduate school is out of the question. It's just not ME. But engineering isn't something you can just run with after undergrad. I honestly think that you really need sit down, talk to someone about you dreams, your goals, and your desires and figure how to make them HAPPEN. It's a very long process, and not one that should be attempted with quite so many distractions as are at school. So hang on for another month or so, then come home to me, at least for a few days, and I will be your shoulder to cry on, your open mind, and your logic monster (because actual possibility is highly important.)
Keep your chin up til the end of the semester. After that, you will have your two best friends and sisters right there to help you.
The "real world" IS the green forest and the garden. Everything else is a fabrication of mankind's collective imagination. I think the time is coming whe you and I might very well return to the real world. I certainly intend to.
