Yes, I am indeed still alive. This month has been absolutely insane in many aspects. Let's see: on the 8th I did CUA's Singled Out, but I didn't win; the 9th I bought a date at the LCA (frat) date auction (we finally went out on the 19th to Applebee's after he had cancelled on me twice and didn't even take me where we were originally supposed to go); ate dinner and watched a movie at Stacey's house (her house is pretty much like a mansion!); Katie Heaton and I went to the Relient K concert at the Beaumont Club with a girl she knows and some of her friends (I also saw Megan Barr and her b/f there); ate at Mimi's Cafe this last Thursday; saw Saturn through a telescope in the observatory, watched "Worst of American Idol," and cracked open a coconut with a pair of bolt cutters with Lisa and then we ate some of it on Friday; and yesterday I bought a "grow a leprechaun" at Claire's with Emily J and Mandy and we went to Uno's on the Plaza for Courtney's birthday and then came back and had ice cream cake.
Friday was also pretty crazy b/c in Written Comm. I had a paper due and I also got the last paper back (I got an A-!). Then in Speech I gave a speech using a puppet I borrowed from Aundrea, and then I got back my listening activity essay and I got an A on that, too! The only thing I'm worried about school-wise right now is Spanish b/c I totally forgot to do some exercises online AND our final is Tuesday b/c it's only a 7 week class. So hopefully I can get that all worked out and do well.
Needless to say I've been pretty busy. I have some more exciting plans coming up. I'm going to try to start a puppet group through CSM on campus and hopefully it'll be somewhat easier now that I've found a couple of people interested and that actually own some puppets. yay! Also, Ruthie and her aunt are coming up to visit in March and we're gonna go to the Nelson! So I'm looking forward to that!
Well, I need to go b/c I have lots of homework and I'm playing catch w/ Marilyn at one. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! :D
