Just turn around and I'll be there...
I'm happy because I totally scored a can of chocolate frosting today. This was because this afternoon the DaVine (women's ministry) group I'm in made a holiday dinner for a family and we made cupcakes for dessert and there was leftover frosting, so they let me have it. And I was like "sweet!" So that was pretty cool. Today was also the Hanging of the Greens during chapel and that was pretty cool. I'm sad though because I'm going to miss the lighting of the Quad tomorrow night b/c I have to go ring the salvation army bell thingy w/ Mandy at HyVee.
So I was looking at my schedule for this month. Insanity. Finals and Christmas parties and shows. This weekend is Megan G's senior show, which I have to help w/ scene changes in and next weekend is Becky's senior show. And then the week after that is finals. At least I only have two finals and a paper. But hopefully I do better on this paper than the last one. That was bad. Hopefully I can pull a B. I still need to do my cross-cultural activities for Responsible Self. Not to mention I still need to go present shopping. God give me peace and calm my nerves in this stressful holiday season. Help me to remember why I celebrate Christmas.
In other news, Thanksgiving was pretty good. God always provides, and y'all don't know how thankful I am for that! I ate good food and hung out with friends and went to church. Saw Harry Potter with Ruth. I got pictures developed. Hung out and watched movies. Fun stuff. I can't wait for Christmas break.
I brought all of my old (as in middle school era) CDs to school. And also Christmas CDs. I don't know why about the old CDs. XD I'm so random, I know.
But I am excited b/c every night this week at ten we've been having a special revival prayer time, which has been pretty awesome. I think it's been helping me a lot, even though it's been pretty late nights (XD Like I'd go to bed anyways, especially w/ the loud neighbors I have who watch loud movies at 2 in the morning).
Well, I'm going to try to take a short nap so that I can feel refreshed for prayer tonight. Paz!
