It's been a while, hasn't it?
But don't worry, you guys. I'm still alive and reading my friends page. XD But seriously, I didn't realize how long it'd been since I last posted, and for that I apologize. It's just that I've been SO busy this whole month. I can't believe this month is almost over. And I have a paper due on the last day of this month, which I haven't actually started yet, but I'm planning on starting it today. I also found out this week that my roommate Jamie is probably going to transfer next semester, leaving me roommateless. This week is also homecoming week, which has been extremely stressful, but fun at the same time. Last night was friggin' awesome because we (ADPis and FIJIs) won the spirit stick AND tug of war (which I was in!). It was great because we fooled everyone. When we got there, we were all wearing nice clothes (with crazy stuff on under them) and reading the paper and we didn't scream or yell or cheer, but just sat there reading with no spirit, while everyone else was screaming and stuff. Then, a little while after that, they played this scottish bagpipe music, and someone was beating on a drum, and all these FIJI guys (and some of our girls) ran in all Braveheart-ed out, with face/body paint and kilts and flags, etc. When they walked, in all of us in the stands stood up and took off our nice clothes (to reveal the clothes under them) and started screaming and stuff. It was SO friggin' crazy axesome! We totally kicked some major bootay last night. Tonight is Campus Sing (which I'm kinda glad I'm not in b/c they have to practice a lot), so I hope we do well with that. After that is Worship Jam and then the Bonfire. It should be fun. We're doing tv hero songs, like Power Rangers and Turtles! Then Friday is Powder Puff Football and I'm the Quarterback, and that night is the Jars of Clay concert! Saturday is the golf cart parade and I'm supposed to drive the cart for the Psychology Club, then later is the Football game, of course. I also have a choir concert Sunday night, and Monday night (Halloween) CUA is hosting a costume party on campus. I think I'm going to be a purple fairy again because I have the outfit with me and mom is sending me the wings that I forgot over Fall Break. And that's pretty much the rest of the month.
Speaking of Fall Break, I wanted to tell everyone that I had tons of fun, guys! I love all of you and miss you! The next time I'll be home is for Thanksgiving break, so I hope I can see some of you then.
I found out last night after checking my mail that next Thursday I will have TWO "Journey to Jewell" girls spending the night in my room. Apparently they're from Lincoln, NE, and I think they must be friends because it says they go to the same high school. But I'm pretty excited about that. Although, Jamie said she's not going to be here. I hope I can figure out something fun for them to do. Next week is also Initiation week and then Saturday is the big day. I'm thinking I might dye blue streaks in my hair afterwards. That should be fun. XD
