it's cold. really cold. amazing weather we're having, but it's making me feel sick. well, not too sick yet.
i'm taking a leave on friday. which probably means that i'll have to cram my work in 4 days. hahaha. a can-do attitude will get you places. and into trouble, too.
the End of the Affair is an excellent movie, and an even better book by all accounts. which means i have to read it now that i've seen it. it also means that i probably should've read it before watching it. happy accident that it's a win-win situation.
the complete Age of Apocalypse finally made its way back to us. it still reads pretty well, for the most part. Generation Next is still the best of the lot. scott lobdell did some pretty cool stuff with that storyline.
i'm pleased that the Fountain will be making a theatrical run here. pleased enough to go watch it alone. maybe i'll still get to watch Stranger than Fiction and/or Little Children before then. one can hope.
it's february already. normally, i'd really feel uncomfortable during february. but this year, it feels different. i feel different. or indifferent. in any case, it's a good thing that i get to greet the so-called love month with a bit of calm (despite the schedule at work). this should be good. well, better, at least. i hope.
