Weekendness
When will life slow down..??? I dont see it happening anytime soon, but i never seem to be doing anything 'different', therefore its not that exciting to tell about. although, i did sit through two basketball grand finals this weekend - that's not really the norm.
Am 18 on thursday... i can almost taste it (actually snuck a beer down my guzzell when no one else was home before. couldnt be bothered drinking water, and beer seemed the more exciting option. maybe that's the taste i can taste?? hmmm...)
Tomorrow i have an interview for channel 31 - wizard of oz promotion, with the other principal cast members... yes, yes, i know, channel 31, but it's still pretty cool. I'm hoping we'll get to do radio though! that'd be cooler! haha! but it means getting up really really early in the morning - and that's a pain in the arse... maybe we'll skip the breakfast radio bit!
I was just given this awesome CD. there's 6 italian guys (singing mostly in italian), but they're an accapella group and it's just awesome!! i love this sort of stuff!!! am listening to it now... i'd love to be in a group like this, but i need at least 3 to 5 other people who are not only good singers, but also very very musically competant (and it's the very very musically competent that you dont come across all that much)! ...for example, if anyone watches the X factor, groups like 'pablo' or 'suade' are the type of thing that i'm talking about, or that chick band that doesnt wear shoes that sang 'taxi' tonight... or 'random', except they're more RnB. anyway, that's the kind of thing on this CD. Aaaah... i can only dream - i'll just fall in love with the 6-part harmonies and musical creativity of this group for the meantime.
have to go in to multimedia early tomorrow morning... i borrowed the camera to film some stuff over the weekend, and coz its booked first thing in the morning, i have to be there to return it. grr. ciao4now
