GOOD NEWS AND GREAT NEWS...
well, i had some good news and some great news the other day, it goes like this...
GOOD NEWS: I found out that i got a part in another show. it's called "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" (yes, i know, that title's too long - so we all just call it "Joseph"). my character's called JUDAH - he's practically on stage all the time, but it's more an ensemble role... but i get a feature song, so i'm happy, hehe!! (it's very rasta style too - it's called "the Benjamin Calypso" - thought you'd appreciate that Jazz!)
GREAT NEWS: I found out that i got nominated for 2 awards at the Victorian Music Theatre Guild for my role as Marius in Les Miserables... AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! i'm up for Best Male Supporting Lead and Best Junior Male... it's like - SO COOL!!! - you never get nominated for 2 and are very lucky to get one! i know it's only coz i'm just old enough to fit in the junior categoty, but it's SOOOOOOO cool! Awards night is on December 10th, so it looks like it'll be a good night - i've never been before! Don't care if i win, but it's friggin awesome that judge-people thought i was good enough to nominate!!!

(commendations are for the people who were good and were considered for nominations, but missed out on them) but not to brag, but i thought i'd add that too, coz i think it's really cool! burst out laughing when i saw it though!!!
by the way, i also recieved hate mail over les mis too... it went like this:
"I saw u in les mis a few weeks ago and i thought u were shit!Sorry mate but my dog could have done betta!i auditioned 4the show and didnt Get in.im glad tho coz i would of had 2lISTEN 2u squawking all day long!sorry but i had to b honest!(Telstra Payphone SMS)"
now really... who goes to the trouble of doing that from a payphone?!??? tell me to my face please - i'd so love to know who did it!!!
