The Last Few Weeks....

Just when I thought I escaped Geometry last year, something just as bad came to bite me back in the ass.

Trigonometry. >:P

I hate Math subjects, and apparently, they hate me back. The teacher gave me a referral form to attend the institutional tutorial, and yep, I'm really going. >_>

The Linggo ng Lahi or Culture Week is right around the corner. My ( Read more... )

Haha! LOlz. You don't know how true that is! The Filipino teachers aren't satisfied if they just rhymed, the poem has to make sense as well. I'm doomed.

Yes I am. Hahahaha! XD

I'm so lost. Were learning about the applications of the Trigonometric functions.

Oh man, good luck on writing some poetry in Tagalog. I'm sorry for being ignorant on the subject, but I'm assuming you speak another language on a day-to-day basis? Oh man... maybe you could write the poem in a language you're comfortable in and then just translate it to Tagalog?

My sympathies for Math. I had trouble with that too, until one teacher actually explained it to me in a way that made sense. (I learn differently from my classmates, so it was so frustrating to feel stupid all the time.) I hope the tutorial class helps you understand it better. Sometimes it just takes one person who knows how to teach (and empathize with you) to help you get it.

In my country, we are taught to speak three languages at most. First is our provincial vernacular, second is our national language, and third is English. Most people from outside don't know that, so shocking, right? I already tried that, problem is, I'm better well vresed in English, and translating is a big issue since the words, phrasing or sentence forms come out differently. T__T

Yeah. I am really going to those tutorials. If I flunk a subject, I'll lose my scholarship.

Thanks for every heads-up that you gave. I really needed them.

Much love,
~Nica
