I dont know why more people dont like Elliot Smith. Yeah I know hes dead now, but the more I listen to his music the more in love I am with it. Its all the things I like in music. I can listen to it and loose myself in it. Its good driving music. Its just sad that he supposedly killed himself and he cant make anymore music. He talks about suicide all the time in his music, but its not in a stupid poor me way. Its really sad but just enough so and his music and lyrics fall perfect together. He was probably one of those rare people who can express themselves perfectly in their art. Anyway, he is probably my favorite musician. Anyway, I was driving home today thinking about that. The leaves are at that point where they are changing around the edges and everything is so clear. I like this time of year. I've forgotten what a real fall is like since I've lived in Charleston. Alex called today from Dubai. He rode a camel haha. I cant wait to see those pictures. I miss him so much and talking to him is aggravating because I just want to hug him or something and I cant. Oh well. I want a cup of coffee...
