It's been announced that Kawai Fumito will be co-starring in a butai called "Nodo Jiman" ~Ue wo Muite Arukou~ (『のど自慢』～上を向いて歩こう), during June~August 2017. His co-star is the enka singer Mori Masako, this is the her first starring role in a butai in 32 years.
