Hey! I am back from our one week vacation in Chanioti, Chalkidiki (north Greece-but souther than my city). I relaxed for a few days at home and then my dad and I went to grandma's summer house for 2 days. It was nice.
Today I woke up at 9 am o_o because we have workers here. They are painting our walls. We had some damage because of the humidity.

Yes, I do shop online - I've been doing so quite a lot recently. amazon.co.uk is probably my main source for English language books - it's cheaper than in the stores, they have quick delivery and because it's within the European union (unlike amazon.com) you don't run any risk of having to pay extra taxes. Amazon is obviously also good for movies and such but I usually get mine from a couple of different Swedish online stores that specialize in movies - they are competitive with each other so everything is always cheap as they're trying to have the lowest prices.
I also love Etsy!!! They have everything you could ever think about and it's all handmade and so pretty!!! You purchase directly from the sellers and other people who purchased before you leave feedback to the seller so you can see if he/she is reliable or not. I've bought quite a few things from here and I know other who have too, and as far as I know no one has had any problems. Even if you don't plan on buying anything you should have a look around the website at all the unique objects - most items for sale are just one of a kind and it's everything from clothing, to jewelery, to furniture and home decor objects (perfect for re-decorating your room!).
I also sometimes buy clothes online, cause I'm tiny and a couple of online stores offer petite sizes so for once I can wear stuff that don't look 3 sizes too large on me! If clothes is what you're interested in there are several websites I could recommend for you, just let me know! :)
As for the money issue, my bank/credit card provider offers a special service called "safe card transactions" (I guess that would be the most accurate translation). Basically, the way it works is: every time you want to make a purchase online you log on to the bank's website and click on "safe card transactions" - they then give you a credit card number that's completely different from the one that's really on your card and you can use this number for one purchase, after that the numbers are completely useless - so there is no chance people could steal any extra money from your card. If you wish to make more than one purchase you just click on the button on the website again and you get a new number that works the same way. I think this is a great service and I always use it when I shop online (unless I'm buying something from Etsy, then I usually use PayPal which is another great service.) Maybe your bank offers similar services?
You should of course always be careful when shopping online but with websites such as amazon, I don't think you have to be too nervous about it since it's such a well known and long established store. I would worry a lot more if I was buying something off, eBay for example (though I never have!).
I hope that was elaborate enough! ;) If you want to ask about anything, feel free! Good luck!

I checked out 'Etsy' and I will certainly have it on my mind. ;)
I am not really interested in buying clothes on-line. I think that if you don't try them on, or at least see them, it doesn't work.
I will have to ask about the bank thing. I think I will find a suitable service.
Yes, I've heard that eBay is not as trustworthy, but why is that really?
Your comment was very satisfactory, thank you. :)
