Nick has been gone for about 10 months now (minus his 2 week leave). I have always kept up with the news and their platoons websites. The websites are updated everyday with pictures and missions that the 256th group goes on. Never once did I see Nick or anyone that I knew (b/c the houma group is attached to lafayette and a new york group). This morning while checking my email, I get one of Nick. How exciting!! The Family Readiness Group purchased Misty Mates for the Houma unit with all the $$$ that has been donated to them. It was neat. I'm about to call the boyfriend in a second.
