Today was a HAPPY day!
Dunno if you remember that my cuty-patooty hockey player, Sid the Kid, was hurt last Jan and has been trying to recover from this nasty concussion ever since.
Today, a press conference was scheduled and the doctors who have been treating him gave us great hope that he will make a full recovery. IN TIME. He is still a long way from getting there, but tests are showing he is on his way. I had feared that his career might be over. Which would have been such a sad loss to the sport.
This is CANADA's Golden Boy!!! He is the #1 Hockey Player in the world, at the tender age of 24 and he inspires all young kids who play hockey as well as professional hockey players who respect him and follow his lead.
He plays for the PITTSBURGH PENGUINS so you may have heard of him down South!
Here he is, scrumpcious as ever (he does give me bad thoughts) but mostly I admire him...
So while Ewan has his Sid, I have my own... mine's a penguin, not a pooch!!! :)))
