The cleaning ladies are coming by tomorrow...
Know what that means?
It means I will spend a frantic hour and a half in the morning tidying up before they get here!!
Why? Because my men leave everything everywhere and if I leave it up to the ladies, we can't find their bits anywhere after! Papers, notes, anything loose on a desk.... gets put away!
Sounds like a good thing, but I'm a little OCD... so I myself have little piles (tiny ones) here and there which remind me things I have to do or things I have to remind my lads to do... and my men leave notes and papers and cheques and money and directions to places, etc etc, wherever they wrote them or touched them last...
Anyway, I'm not bitching because they really help me so much, I honestly could not cope without them. They come every other Wed and I wish it was weekly!

Oh oh... and I have EXCELLENT news... my eldest son, the electrician, got accepted at College! He is so happy! He starts 3rd week of Jan. Woot! I have 2 boys in college!

Yesterday, the strangest thing happened... for the very first time I dreamt of both my parents and i saw them vividly... in colour! My dad was smiling and seemed really happy, that warmed my heart... and my mom was beautiful as always and she was doing some funny job, she was quite busy at it... i can't remember what it was, but it made me smile.
It's the very first time I dream of them where I can actually SEE their faces and eyes vividly. The secretary at work told me that's because my parents came to see me...
mmm... interesting. I was feeling guilty that I had missed the anniversary of my mom's passing on Dec 7th, the day before the elections! No wonder!

I went to a DISCO last Sat night to celebrate my niece's 20th birthday... oh god! I was dressed WAY to warm to bop around like that!!! *hums Bad girl, bad girl, nothin but a bad girl* Still, I had fun. Nice thing now is you come home and you don't smell like an ashtray! Some laws make sense!

So that's it in a nutshell... I spent the day working from home, wrote my Xmas cards and mailed them out FINALLY.... they may even make it on time this year!!!!
