So it's 10 minutes past midnight and officialy 2012. Wow, the year really did pass by quickly. Let's see now...
In terms of my design work, it's been great. While freelancing has been going great, I also became the web designer at etrix. That's going very smoothly. It's kept my days very busy though, as such I've come to appreciate the weekends more lately, lol. No complaints though. I didn't get to do much personal work this year. There was
rising and...oh snaps, there was only just rising, lol! Hopefully I'll be able to change that this year.
What else...family, ever the same. Oh, I must mention Lizzie, my baby cousin. She's over one year old now and she's already gotten so big. She's just about the sweetest little creature ever. Oh two other babies I must mention, my Dandruff and Shampoo. It's as if it was just yesterday there were tiny little kittens. I still recall that sad day my dad and I saved them from those huge killer ants. They're almost a year old now. The mother and Shampoo don't hang around that much (drop by every now and then) but Dandruff is here often. She's become so pretty and doesn't hesitate around us anymore at all!
Moving on, can't go on without mention K-Pop. I got into it mid 2010 but around the start of the last year (lol, 2011 is already the 'last' year) was when I really got emersed into the fandom. What's awesome is I made a ton of new friends. Oh I also became the designer at Diadem. I was extremely happy when that happened. My first project was Eunjung and Qri's birthday message book. I was so giddy to know something I made was actually in their hands, hehe.
Oh speaking of which, I couldn't be more jubliant for T-ara this year-oh sorry, last year, heh. 2011 practically belonged to them. I never expected Roly Poly to reach the heights it did. Truthfully it's becomes irrelevant that they never nabbed so many awards for it, 'cuz they're practically already considered the true winners of the year by everyone. The highest selling song of 2011, dominated the year end charts and aside from Roly Poly; Cry Cry was an instant hit, movies, dramas, buttload of CFs. I mean, wow. So very proud of the girls. T-ara fans have been so overjoyed this year. To make it all the more special, this was all under Hyomin's turn as the leader. The perfect end to her reign; my precious won the rookie award at the MBC Drama Awards.

I almost cried. Soyeon's going to be the next leader. Can't wait for Lovey Dovey, it's gonna be released on the 2nd. The Cry Cry Drama MV was just epic and I can't wait to see part 2. Even more excited for the four other MVs we're getting (you're still a major troll KKS). Considering the amazing sucess Davichi also had this year (right behind Roly Poly in the year end charts), CCM did hella good this year.
Now as for Girls' Generation, oh man...they rocked in Japan. Their Japanese album was perhaps their best album yet. Then they return to Korea with The Boys. I was so suprised to see a huge number of people were dissapointed. It was a major let down actually. The fan remixes are more enjoyable. The song was made by Teddy Riley (please fire him SM) and he was obviously going for a western sound (was still no good) since they were gonna test out the waters in the US music scene. Ya know actually I think in the end, they won't even really make an actual US debut. If they did...well no one's gonna take 'em seriously with that new horrendous remix of the Boys featuring Snoop Dog (I still cannot believe it...).
Image wise, I loved what the did in The Boys (Sunny's so hott with her new hair). Music wise...no. Some of the songs on the album were really good though, sadly they'll never be promoted. Here's hoping their next comeback won't dissapoint.
That reminds me, I actually wanted to do a review of the girl group rush but didn't find the time. T-ara, Kara, Brown Eyed Girls and Secret did the best. T-ara having the most notable sucess. It's funny, the big league boy and girl groups sucked this year. Smaller league groups owned it all! This is actually a consent I found I shared with the majority of everyone.
Oh can't forget, SunByung didn't dissapoint this year either. In fact, towards the later half of 2011, we got ourselves a lot of SunByung love to spazz over, lol.
I think that's enough paragraphs for K-Pop lol. I've gotten really into the fandom this year. It's great though, considering all the new friends I've made. What else....hm, think I burned myself out talking about K-Pop. Can't remember anything else in the year, lol. Makes it seem like there was nothing else other than K-Pop but no of course there was so much more and truthfully there'd be no end this journal if I had to write it all out. Well, lets finish it off here for now. Overall, great year and it's time to now...um, continue doing what I do....yeah, lol.
