"I Am Legend" stressed me the shit out. Like, that movie did not have a single feel good moment to it. It was just BAM stress BOOM stress WILLSMITH stress. Stress stress stress. I still kind of feel like watching seven hours of Disney movies just to get back to my normal level of calm. It was pretty entertaining, though. I sort of wish they would've taken the books view more, though. I think it would've been less of a stressor and more of just a thriller movie. However, I'm not full of film smarts, so I'm sure there was a reason they diverted from the book.
Neil Gaiman can do no wrong. None. The mans brain vomits genius. It's kind of unfair. He should spread some of that around.
My dad and I are going to see the new Alien vs. Predator movie on Christmas day. I'm really stupidly excited. Oh god, I hope the epic fight scene I've been waiting for like, all my life, shows up. Do you know how much potential there is? Do you know? SO MUCH.
You have the aliens, who are totally ruthless, intelligent killers, who adapt scarily well and are equipped with some of the most badass natural defenses ever.
Then you have the predators, easily one of the coolest concepts ever (Hirogen are based on them, I'd wager), who have technology that the CIA would cream to get their hands on. They're smart, they're logical, and they're completely unforgiving with their prey.
Holy love of Shiva, I hope there's an epic fight scene. Not a lame three minute one. I want a twenty minute, action packed, acid spilling, tendril ripping, laser blasting battle between a super alien (predalien?) and a seasoned predator.
DO YOU KNOW HOW EPIC THAT WOULD BE!
Almost as epic as the two second teaser we got of the fight between Sylar and Peter.
I hope this movie took notes on that brief moment in t.v. showdom, so maybe they've recreated that energy into a longer, more CGI intense and expensive sequence.
I should go do something with myself.
