Thursday was the Pegasus Parade for the Kentucky Derby. It was long and painful. But I did not give in and drink water like the other sections. Us trumpets/flugels held strong and did not break up our stance just to drink water like the weak. I sound crazy. But other than the parade part, the day was boring and hot and lazy. I just wanted to lay in the sun. The bus ride there was all right, we watched Remember the Titans. The bus ride back was Bringin' Down the House. Good times.
Worked 5am - 7am Friday morning after getting back at like 11:30 from Kentucky. Went back to sleep and missed Rhythmic Aerobics for the first time. It was worth it, sleep felt good.
Saturday was opening day for Cedar Point. We left late, got there right on time, played, then had a break. Break consisted of a few rides, nothing special like Dragster or Millenium or anything, but some good ones. And there was the $30 for 3 people lunch we had. So expensive those mini corn dogs. And the spicy chicken was anything but. Josh and I ended up catch the early bus home because my head was killing me and my stomach was angry.
Saw Stick It. It was really funny. Not exactly what I expected, and in a good way. Quite enjoyable.
Josh and I celebrated 6 months. A milestone and a first in my lifetime. We ate dinner at the Blackwell. I loved it.
Work is boring. Need more Gilmore Girls.
Affirmative on staying in Columbus this summer. Turned in my housing and will be taking classes with Anna and Josh. And Jessi and Jamie and Becky will all be here too, so I won't be anywhere near alone.
Only 19 more days of classes before my first year at college is technically over. I can't believe it went so fast. I'm in shock that I'm already this far. Crazy.
I have officially seen all three Jurrasic Park movies. The third one was the one I stayed awake the most during. But I have a feeling that had more to do with my feeling crappy than my actual interest. When the lights are off and I'm laying down, cuddling, the TV just puts me to sleep if I'm remotely tired. Working those 5-7's are catching up with me.
I think that about covers the interesting stuff. I shall be home this coming weekend. Come to the Matt Meyer Event! Saturday, May 13th, at the Meyer Residence. There shall be hanging out and funness. Maybe even food. Probably not pizza, but something really good. Be there! It's one of your last chances to see me and Anna.
Other than that, hope everyone's everything is going well.
