A Symphonic Experience

Mar 11, 2006 02:11

So tonight rocked. Josh and I joined Katie and Billy for dinner and then a trip to the symphony. We went to Max and Erma's and ate for free on gift cards. Then we went to symphony. Now, to most people, the symphony sounds uber boring, right? Well, this wasn't your normal run of the mill symphony. We were not forced to sit and listen to some old Mozart piece that was composed hundreds of years ago. No. It was a Celtic celebration. Ya know, since St. Patrick's Day is coming up and all. The music was all Celtic, and it was neat. And instrumental music was not the only form of entertainment. There were two singers, a guy and a girl, a little drama, and Irish Dancers. The dancers rocked. I loved watching them. Oh, to add to the awesomeness of the night, Josh was wearing a button up shirt with a tie, and I was decked out in my cute new skirt. And my hair was AMAZING thanks to Amanda. Much kudos goes to her for my do.

In other news...last night was interesting as well. I went with Josh, Amanda, Liz, Katie, and Greg (the last two people were new to me, I met them yesterday) to the dance recital thingy to see Jessica dance. I also got to see Ashley tap dance. She's an OA. She was good. Jessica did good too. Watching all the dancing rocked. Makes me want to dance. I'm going to take a dance class before I graduate, mark my words. It will be done. Oh yes, it will be done.

Uhm, I got a new printer. Yay. It not only prints, but it scans and copies. I'm in love.

Finals week is coming up. Boo on finals. Yay for Spring Break almost here.

Tomorrow is Girl's Night!!! Any girls in Columbus who want to join are more than welcome. It shall be interesting. Completely improv.

So that's all. This is a shorter one. Yay. Goodbye all.
