I got my license today. So I am now a Licensed driver of Virginia! Me and like 21 other ppl who were in courtroom #6 today. And of course there were a whole rack of Forest Park Ppl there. Juniors mostly...but I digress. Alot of OP doofuses were there too...AND UNFORTUNATELY NO CUTE BOYS!! The 3 people that told us their stories today about how they did something wrong and got in trouble were all seniors, all girls, and all from OP. "I was like well that says alot..." I liked the Judge though, he was funny...but I didnt like how he was giving the 'Rents Punishments Ideas...like "You can make them ride the bus again!" ::BUZZER SOUND:: I LOATHE THE BUS!! But I have to say I think the worst thing about it was I was w/ my dad....thats basically explains it all.

This is why I love Lauren x2..

ahem. creative writing assignment. read please. "on love"

"I think people are more in love with the feeling of thinking they're in love, and being in that state of bliss and selflessness. Being blind and forgiving and having everything they touch become alive and divine. Its such a beautifully, tragic feeling. Chilling, scary, and addictive. How did people become so predictable?

I have no clue if it exsists. No clue at all, i'm sure it does somewhere, I mean someone had to make up all these lame traditions about candy and flowers, but i mean, we're young we've got a lot going for us and many years ahead of us, there's plenty of time to fall or CRASH into love. Personally, i think we trip into love. Really. We're just walking along minding our bussiness, and everything around us is either REALLY good or REALLY bad, and once we stop paying attention? BAM! we trip, and suddenly we're in love. Its like tripping on a shoelace. Yes, life is a shoe, and love is like tripping on a shoelace. All we need now are the right people 2 tie our shoes.....Maybe that's where the term head over heels comes from....You know what? People are too smart to invent love. No I take that back, I think people are too simple to be in love all on their own. If it weren't for the overanalytical friends giving you advice, or the latest pop ballad being marketed around you, we wouldn't have love. Love has become a social standard. It's probably the most commercial aspect of life. It's like having the right clothes and the right hair. It's no longer an emotion, its a mental response to adaptation. You have to have a crush, you have to have that one person on your mind so when your friend says Jason stared at her in class, you can say that Billy said "bless you" when you sneezed. And this nature of love has become a predictable cycle that seems to go hand in hand with high school and being a teenager. Learning the many lessons of humility at the expense of thinking your in love is one of the many passages of youth. First boyfiends and girlfriends happen more out of the eagerness for apathy than the actually feeling for the person. The impulse of concern and constant depth of devotion should be the real reason people are in love. It's not being able to take a breath for yourself without taking a breath for him or her too.

I think that the varying degrees of vulnerablity relate to the level of devotion. If someone is cowering behind their mate, living off of silly traditons and mind games because they think they're supposed to be cute and birdlike in their relationships, then love has truly become a template. A "paint by numbers" for us to follow the directions. When we learn to seperate the dramatization of what relationships are supposed to be and the reality of our feelings about people then and only then we will realize that it's okay to be single, and it's okay to not have children or be married by the time your 30. It's not that scary because it's pure. And that's what life is supposed to be. And who says there's only "The one"? What if there's two?! And if there is a lack of true feelings, then move on...buy a cat...whatever....but if feelings exist outside of obligation and attraction, then hold on like hell; Let yourself fall."

Isnt that so Awesome??!! And So True!! She hit it home w/ that one. I knew she could be cool when she tried...LOL j/k!
