 So our car got into a small fender bender tonight and now I need to put the call out to find those friends of mine who know car stuff. The biggest thing is the Bumper cover ls was sheared in half (Neatly i must say kinda cool to look at) I know about as much about cars as I do about biochemistry. Out of curiousity, do you have insurance? Because unless your deductible is monstrously high, body work is almost always cheaper to handle through insurance.

yea when i told my insurance agent that i wanted a bare bones coverage for some reason she took it to mean one without coverage in an accident (and didn't mention that i didn't have it) so there i'm the screwed.

Huh. They must have given you only liability insurance but not collision or anything else. Crazy. You may still have recourse. If the accident involved another vehicle, then that person's insurance may cover some of the damages if they were at fault. If you simply collided with the terrain, you may be out of luck. :(
