Almost forgot....

Man, i almost forgot about good 'ole reliable lj. Its  so much simpler than the other networking sites.

Anyway, I thought that I would just update. There really is not much to update about. lol.

I recently graduated from UAB with a major in marketing and a minor in management. I can't even begin to describe the relief when I received my diploma in the mail. It is almost bittersweet to be leaving UAB. I have gained alot of friendships that I would never trade for anything the past 3 years there. I won't forget some of the experiences that i had either. lol. There is a reason why certain signs are tilted....lol. That is all I shall divulge. I will miss it, but not really all the homework. I think having semesters worked against me. I became bored halfway through the semesters and did not put forth as much effort. hehe. I hope to go back and get a Master's in International Business with Arabic as my language concentration. That may be awhile...lol.

As far as work goes, I am no longer at the Galleria. There were a lot of management changes going on and I knew that it was time for me to leave. Turns out that it was the best idea for my job, marketing assistant, was eliminated when the budget cuts came through. I had fun and I had no regrets. Actually, it is evident that G-d was with me and my decision. I handed in my 2 weeks noticed and arrived at my office to my phone ringing. It was my sister saying that I could have a job if i wanted it. No interview or anything. She did not even know that I was considering leaving the Galleria. I thought it was pretty amazing. So I am now at Hinkle Metals and Supply assisting the Corporate Credit Department . It can be boring, trust me on that.

I am currently interviewing for a graduate level internship with an international ministry. It is located in Seattle, Wa and, yes, I would have to move. It would for the duration of a year. I just keep praying that the right person would be offered the job, whether that is me or not. I just keep asking G-d for guidance and direction of where He wants me to go and when, especially career-wise. If there is one thing that I have learned, G-d places in you where you need to be when you need to be there and for a purpose. I guess you could say that I am waiting on my next assignment in that sense.

There is still no significant other in my life. Honestly, I am happy with the single life.  (It certainly would make things easier to move ; P ).  My friends and my family occupy most of my time anyway. I am blessed with an awesome group of friends that seem to be coming closer as each day unfolds. They are all truly awesome and great encouragers. We have a lot of adventures..that is for sure. My second family would be my roommates. I miss them sooo much. Nejla went back to NY, Amber back to Clanton, Lauren moved and started her career, and Yodet is back in Germany. I really miss them. If all works out, Amber and Nejla will be rooming with me again. We are currently looking for houses around the Ham.  I hope to be able to visit Yody, but i have to save up...now it may be my rent money. lol. That and there is a possible road trip to Ohio and a cruise to Cozumel. It really depends on whether my parents are going to help me out or not.

Other than my friends and family, I have gotten involved with a local women's ministry, Aglow. I have recently been asked to lead worship, which is not something I would have volunteered for..lol. I am still that somewhat shy, yet outgoing person you all know. I guess this will help me get over my shyness. haha.

I know this has been long..just updating.

Let me know what's going on in all of your lives. Love you all! I haven't forgotten about you!
