(no subject)
i'm bored and cold
they don't give me enough to do, so talk to me on aim
hopefully things will pick up soon
last week was so fun, but so far this week's been slow
everyone's really nice, but they're not sure what to do with me
oh well, i know i nurse who works in one of the other buildings, and she might get me in to see some surgery. hot.
i'm disappointed because there were so many things i wanted to do this summer, but my evenings are so busy i've had to cut out a few things. like taking piano lessons, and teaching dance classes to my club ladies. bellydancing has taken over my life to the point that i can't even do all my bellydancing stuff.
every weekend this month i've got a performance
4th: danced at museum of natural sciences when the sca came to do a demo for the opening of the lord of the rings exhibit (dad shot his treb into miller outdoor theater next door)
11th-12th: workshop in austin with aziza and show saturday night
18th: ice cream social at sirrom
25th: moodafaruka concert
at least i love it. i really enjoyed dancing at the museum- it was very spontaneous and fun. i like improv dancing with a drum. and i am sooo pumped about this weekend!
cory's coming into town on the 17th! his mom is nice enough to offer to take him down here (he can drive, he's just not allowed to go alone), and they're gonna stay with some family they have in spring. still trying to think of things for us to do... nothing expensive or too far away. actually i really don't care, i'm just so excited to see him.
divorce update: i'm trying to get my life back to normal in every way possible (ie. i'm sick of everyone walking on egg shells around me, lets just act like we did before), but i really do appreciate everyone's concern. makes me feel loved. : )
