I'm back!
Well i'm back from Amsterdam! It was really good! The boat trip was long (17 hours each way) but it kind of went quickly. That made no sense but oh well. We didn't get the chance to go to the cinemas on the boat as the films times were stupid, we watched the entertainment instead! Luckily we didn't have a rough ride, just gentle sways really. Slightly hard to walk though but all the same fun to try!
We went for a tour around Amsterdam and saw loads of different sites. A floating Chinese restaurant and some really cool crooked houses! The railway station building was really decorative!
We did some shopping too but it was quite expensive really! Weather was sunny for a while but then we got caught in a thunderstorm :( Whilst standing under a shelter a really loud lightning crack sounded and struck about 10 feet from where we were standing, that was so scary!!! I don't want to be in that situation again!
The boat trip back was slightly rockier but enough to cope with. It seemed quicker to come home than it did to go! I was so tired for the rest of the day (Wednesday) as 34 hours on a boat really takes it out of you. Once i was home it was strange as whenever i walked, i felt like i was swaying. I suppose i was used with rocking backwards and forward after all that time on the boat.
Today has been not bad. I went back to work and it was busy so i didn't feel like it at all, i'm still swaying slightly so it wasn't good when i was carrying food! I've been making some Birthday and Christmas cards again. I wish i could show some examples but i don't have a website to which i can upload them onto so unfortunately i can't :( I'll try sometime but i don't know where to start!
I don't think people realise i'm back around LJ so i kind of feel a little by myself. If there is anyone out there who still wants me around then please say. I feel like i'm talking to myself most times which is not good! Anyway sorry for this small complain! Maybe i shouldn't take it to heart but i can't help it!
