Though it hasn't really hit me just yet, apparently I've graduated tonight. I don't quite know how that went about happening, to be honest, but it did.
I'd do some sort of photo entry, but others have done that and I'm too lazy to sift through photos tonight so, for now, I thought I'd write a little something because I want to and, naturally, I'll occasionally hop on the bandwagon and do what everyone else does.
My Senior Year is comparable to my experience during Damn Yankees and, yes, James and the Giant Peach as well. For the most part, it was really indescribable. I made a ton of new friends, lost a few unfortunately, and really had a blast along the way. I ran a Newspaper, blew off duties to the Yearbook, tormented Lisa Trainor(going so far as to kidnap her Shakespeare bobblehead, I might add) and stayed after-hours for various reasons. The end result? Some of the greatest memories I'll ever have. I bitched a lot along the way, I know, but that's something I'm good at so it was bound to happen.
This is my way of saying, "Thank you" to all of the folks of 2006--from my closest friends to the ones I didn't really get along with to even the ones I didn't really even know. We were one hell of an amazing class, you've got to admit. If I recall correctly, the statement above the main entrance explains, "Through these halls walk the greatest minds on earth," or something to that general effect. We may not be the greatest minds, necessarily, but we certainly are a unique and great bunch of people.
I wish every single one of you well in your futures, whether that future leads to college, the armed forces or directly to the work-force, and it's been a thrill getting to know so many wonderful people.
Photo-entry soon, I suppose, but for now this seems like a more than sufficient for an entry.
