Callbacks
A good number of people noticed that "Chrisy Gorski's brother" happened to be at callbacks.
Well, yeah, so Lauren had asked me to tag along and, what the hell, I figured I might as well. I dragged my Roy costume along. Lauren stole various bits of it throughout the callbacks, of course, but it's all well and good.
I must say, all bias and friendships aside, a few things...:
DJ and Brittany are both really excellent at James. I put aside my friendship with Britt for that time and, as I usually do, set a really high standard that I felt she should be able to meet if she really deserved that part. She met it, as far as I'm concerned. Of course, that's really up to Miss Fiorentini.
Pat and Ben are my favorite rhino ever. There ought to be a Gene Kelly award for the Sexiest, Most Awesome Portrayal of a Rhino. You guys'd win it. XD
Alexis and Katelyn were convincingly evil. The Bordini's definitely gave them a run for their money, so I can't really say who I'd prefer in those roles. The talent floored me, though.
Corey and AJ...Why I even bother saying this is beyond me, but you two are ridiculous. Someone could give you guys a script, pull some random-arse character out of the air and you would both pull it off with aplomb.
And everyone else that was there, you folks were really awesome. I know a few names are slipping my mind right now and that has a tendency of happening.
Stage Crew, on the other hand, looks equally as promising. Anyone remember diving for ass? I know I do. I'm hoping to have just as much fun with you other Stage Crew-ians as I did with Musical last year.
Anyway, good luck to everyone and I hope you all the best. Break a leg, etc, etc...
