Warped Tour was amazing! The past couple days have been unbelievable...
I went to a party the other night and ran into someone I haven't seen in years... an unexpected suprise to make a good night better.
Chris woke me up at 7 am the next day to get to Warped Tour early and even though I felt like death, it was amazing! I got dropped kicked during My Chemical Romance, my friend Jessica and I ended up on seperate sides of the stage when we both started out in the middle... very crazy moshpit. This girl Jamie told me later that her friend was crowd surfing and was dropped and had to go to the hospital because she landed on her head. I survived somehow though- I have my battle scars! Then, it started pouring right before Fallout Boy so like half of the people left but I stayed with Brandon and James through this huge lightning storm. Yeah, I started to feel kinda dumb. Yet, we weren't the only sumb people there...
A huge mud fight started and I tried my best to stay on the side lines as people ripped off their clothes to mud wrestle (guys were doing it too thank god). When the lightning let up Fallout boy played two more songs as everyone slipped and fell in the moshpit because their was no more grass there. Dropkick Murphys played after on the adjacent stage but I held my ground on Bishop stage for Thrice, of which was the most amazing performance of the day! I made Brandon and James fans of Thrice because I made them stay through their show... so unbelievable and indescribable. When Artist in the Ambulance came on everyone went crazy through the song. I have to say, Thrice fans are quite nice to each other as compared to the teenie-bitches at MCR. Yet, we all took a beating during Deadbolt when I counted over 25 crowd surfers go over my head. I was at the gate though and since I kept getting smacked in the head, (because for some reason it was uncool to be a 5ft girl at the front of the moshpit) I watched for the guard to stand up and then would duck beacause I knew he was grabbing someone that was about to kick me in the face... sooner or later everyone in the front caught on so we would all duck down and of course I would still get smacked in the face!
I saw them before last year but this concert ran circles around their last performance....
So indescribable....
