Clarification on last post

The Surgery I had 3.5 weeks ago was planned, a result that stemmed from last Winter, when I thought I was having a heart attack. The procedure is called Lap Nissen Fundoplication. (info found here: http://depts.washington.edu/cves/lapnis.html)

While, I was very nervous about going in for my first surgery ever, my incredible wife was handling it well once she found out who my surgeon was. I went in on Friday early AM, and was released the next afternoon.

All in all, not having to take stomach meds has made it worth it.
