let me tell you a story:
Mother Teresa is walking on the street and she saw a homeless man lying on the street. He was really sick and half dead while maggots were eating his rotting flesh. Mother Teresa, upon seeing this, took the man home wherein she cared for him and nursed him back to health. When she saw that the man had enough strength to talk she asked him,
“Man, may I ask you a question?”
The man replied, “What is your question?”
“Who is God to you?”
The man took a moment to take in what Mother Teresa had asked him. After a few moments, he looked up smiling as he answered, “Well, I don’t know much about God but if He is anything like you, I’d sure would love to meet Him.”
God works beautifully in many ways. God loves you, even when you don’t love him back. I’ve always known this.
I just came back from a Days with the Lord weekend yesterday and, after a year of losing my way, I was able to realize how much He loves me and that I love Him.
Thanks for the experience Liz, Sarah, Trizza and Ani, it was much needed for myself and I owe you four for it. :)
