Ya

I wrote this. I read it whenever things seem bad. Enjoy.

Sounds of Peace

Victories
Claim drowning seas
Upon Earth’s end
Of wars to send.
And deepened wounds
Of weak platoons
Are scarred so dark
They missed the mark.
And bodies lie
In God’s grave sigh
Upon the night
Of reddened sight.
Where graveyards loom
And all are doomed
To see the light
Before the night.
They shudder so
In murky woe
So violently
So silently.
Then wake to cries
Of long good-byes
In tortured pain
You go insane.
And finally
At half past three
You view with force
Of sweet remorse
Which beckons, calls
And longs for stalls
Of apprehension,
Scared of tension.
Soothing then
At quarter ten
When all has ceased,
Just sounds of peace.
